Ask Amy – How does one spot the leaders of the jury?

Ask Amy Add comments

It’s interesting to note that with all primates, the noses are pointed to the leader. Watch and see where all the noses are pointing. Leaders tend to sit in the middle or at the end of the table. You can also tell a leader by their vocabulary; a person who has a large vocabulary tends to have a wider range of ideas and tends to be more expressive. Keep in mind that vocabulary is the best predictor of IQ. Leaders are smart or are perceived as smart. It is scary to disagree with a person that one perceives to be “smarter” than themselves.
